Jetty Island

Here in Washington our church has some really great play groups. Lots of people show up, its been a great way to get to know lots of moms and kids. There were lots of fun park days planned for the summer one of which was to Jetty Island. We got to ride a free ferry to an island and the sand was super soft compared to other beaches around. The kids were able to wade really far out and it was still shallow. There were also lots of kite suffers to watch as well. Michael who hates sand on his feet was able to get brave enough to take his shoes off finally by the end. I was totally wiped after this outing but it was definitely worth it.
