Christmas 2015

We had a fantastic Christmas. With extra cousins here and lots of fun things to do Christmas was just a fantastic day! We tried to do more family gifts this year with an electric scooter, tether ball set, ticket to ride, magnatiles, and balance beam. I think all the kids were thrilled. Davis especially loved his swing and magic kit. Abby loved all her art things and especially loved Grandma and Grandpa's nesting dolls from Prague. Olivia was focused on her paint for the bathtub from Grandma but then moved on to her bath barbie and coloring kit.  Kate loved her new baby and stroller. Michael was all about the board games and tether ball. Mike and I kept it practical getting a much needed new toaster and electric grill.

We decided to not do elf on the shelf this year and instead did the service star. If you had the star then you would secretly do an act of service for someone and then leave the star for them to continue the service to someone new. The kids all really got into it and I really loved the spirit it brought to the home. It was a magical year of giving and serving other.

We also made this awesome Thankful tree right after thanksgiving to get in the giving mood of Christmas
