The big 8

I can't believe Michael is 8 now. He had a fantastic birthday party at Wahoos.  He got baptized on the 29th and it was a special day to share with friends and family.

Michael is such a neat kid and he is really coming out of his shell a lot. He started taking guitar lessons a few months ago and has taken off with it. He loves football and is excited to play baseball this spring. He makes friends really easily at school and is the top reader in 2nd grade. He is very self aware so sometimes he has a hard time letting loose, sharing his emotions, or being silly. He has a special bond with his younger sisters and is so soft and kind with them. He is a teacher to Davis and a great friend to Abby. It fun to see how close he and Abby have become and how much they love to learn together. I hope this friendship continues when they are old. Michael is my fast learner who doesn't have to try to hard in order to pick up new skills- just like his Dad. I love his so much and I am proud to be his mamma!

Some of Michael's best buddies are  Hunter Bean, Luke Pritchard, Gage Fujimoto, Greyson Stutz, and Gavin Booth. Most of these boys live in our neighborhood and he has a great time riding his bike to all of their houses trying to find boys to play with on the weekends.

On his Baptism Day! He was so handsome in is suite he made me cry. He usually hates to tuck in his church shirt and wear a tie but since he has gotten this suit there have been no complaints. He is excited to wear it every Sunday. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Jensen!
