BYU vs Washington Game
This past weekend I went with my Father in law and 3 of my Brother in laws up to Seattle to go to the BYU vs Washington football game. Amber's cousin Jeff is a Linebacker on the team and he hooked us up with tickets to the game ( in the 2nd row right in the middle of the BYU section!!) We had an exceptionally good time!!! I want to say a special THANK YOU to Jeff and his mom, Rosemary, for helping to facilitate the best road trip that I have ever been on!
Here we are before the game started
As you can see from the scoreboard BYU won by 1 point when we blocked a PAT attempt with 2 seconds left in the game! That play was also the #1 play of the day that night on ESPN!!! and we were sitting right there in the sixth row in the end zone where it all happened. It was a fun game to watch and the stadium was awesome--it's right on the water and those Washington fans could get really loud!
Here we are with Jeff after the game--he played well and made the tackle on BYU's final kickoff of the game and when they announced his name over the loud speaker we went nuts!! On another play Jeff got hit with a blindside block that leveled him, but he jumped right back up and ran down field after the ball carrier--the hit was so hard that Jeff's brother Peter, who was watching the game on TV back in Virginia, called me and asked if he was okay--that might explain the icepack on his leg.
After the game we went into downtown Seattle and visited Pikes Fish Market. Then we grabbed some Fish and Chips and decided to walk down and see Safeco Field, where the Mariners play. They happened to be playing the Yankees that night and we bought some tickets from a guy on the street for $10 and had a great time at that game as well!
On the way home we stopped off and visited some of Norm's relatives in Washington (his Aunt Frankie) and Oregon (his Uncle Pat)--it was nice to meet them and hear Norm talk about his Mother's siblings and her side of the family. If there is such a thing as the perfect road trip--this was it.

I'm so glad you got to go Mike! Bryce and I had tickets thrown at us left and right, but surprisingly Bryce just wanted to watch it on TV. I kept saying,"Are you my husband, because you don't act like it?!" Next time bring Amber!!!
Hey Mike, I found you through our cousin Jessica's blog. It looks like you guys had a great time at the BYU game, I'm so jealous. The best we can do here is crowd around my Dad's big screen. Well, the kids are still cute as ever! Tell my cousin Amber Hi. If you want I finally decided to join the blogging world, so feel free to check it out - http://bunchofpaynes.blogspot.com/
Hey you guys!!! My little brother Landon Jaussi is on the team as well. He's a receiver...but I think has been able to play on special teams. He got some play time during Saturday's game. Camber Simson
