For those who didn't know Mike and I were able to go on a wonderful vacation to Hawaii this past week. We have some wonderful friends, Dave and Kori Mayeski, who invited us to go with them. This was a no kids trip which was difficult for me at first but ended up being exactly what I needed. Mike and I had a great time- thanks Dave and Kori!

This was the beach right by our condo we stayed out, it was windy and cloudy a lot of the days but you just can't beat these views!

The Helicopter
This is one of the things I wanted to do the most while we were in Hawaii. In fact, it got delayed a couple of days due to weather so I was more than excited to be able to go. We even sat through the most painful Time Share presentation to get a discount on this tour. If any of you have ever been to one of those presentations solely for fee perks and discounts you know the free perks are really just payment for your pain and suffering. So anyway, I was very excited. It was a little windy still so the helicopter had a lot of extra movement. This didn't work so well for me and ten minuets into the ride we will just say I was glad they had the barf bags available. So sad. Its a good thing Mike took such great pictures because I missed some of it. I still have to say that it was amazing and there is nothing like it!

This is a picture Mike took of me right after one of my incidents. As you can see I was not pleased with my wonderful husband trying to document this embarrassment.

Much later when I finally forgave him for the previous picture!

This was the tunnel of trees we drove by everyday to get to our condo. It was beautiful.

Dave and Kori in front of the Grand Canyon of Kauai

My rafting experience was much the same as the Helicopter as far as my luck. This was also one of the main experiences I wanted to do. We kayaked up this river through the jungle and were supposed to hike to this waterfall and be able to swim and cliff jump into it but when we got to the hike there were flash flood warnings and it was too dangerous for us to go. This picture was before we got that news. Funny how I look so excited not realizing these signs were far too true. Oh well the paddling was very fun and adventurous. If Mike and I had been on The Amazing Race we would have come in first for sure!

Mike was able to golf a couple of times in Hawaii. On this course I went with him and was able to see so many beautiful landscapes. This particular hole was separated by a canyon of trees and in the far distance was the ocean. The picture does not do it justice. It was amazing.

This was an awsome trip!

I am so jealous! I want to go to Hawaii sooooo bad. It looks like you had a great time, and lucky for you no kids!
I sat through one of those time share presentations once. It is one of my biggest regrets.
I'm jealous too. Looks fun!
Nathan and I have sat through 3- one guy was like, "you aren't buying?! Then why are you here!?!' We were like, for the discount, see ya! What an awesome gettaway for you guys- the pictures were great, except for your post-barf picture, sorry bout that :(
I'm jealous, but so glad you guys had so much fun. I know Amber if you barfed - I totally would of!!! You're way more adventerous than me!!
I'm the sort of guy who passions to try revolutionary stuff. Presently I am fabricating my personalized photovoltaic panels. I'm doing it all by myself without the assistance of my staff. I am utilizing the net as the only way to acheive that. I stumbled upon a really brilliant site which explains how to make solar panels and so on. The web site explains all the steps involved in solar panel construction.
I am not really sure bout how accurate the data given there is. If some people over here who had experience with these things can have a see and give your feedback in the thread it would be awesome and I would really value it, because I really love solar panel construction.
Tnx for reading this. You people are the best.
